A telephone psychic reading is as old as dirt.  Well, OK, not really THAT old, but the psychic phone reading is older than the online psychic reading and while it has lost some of its popularity since the Internet became the main source for psychic readings, it still enjoys a customer base.  A lot of people still prefer to actually talk to their psychic reader rather than type something in a little box as it can be much easier to convey emotion and an idea by actually speaking to your reader.  Many companies that employ multiple readers will offer a few minutes of free psychic phone reading, but very few, like maybe three minutes.  After that brief introduction, you will be paying a per minute rate, often a very high per minute rate fee.  A word of warning, companies that offer psychic phone readings and advertise on television are often frauds.  I worked for one many many years ago and there is no psychic ability required to work for them.  There are many tricks you are taught that keeps a person on the line longest and a way to offer very vague answers that anyone can relate to pretty much anything.  Essentially the customer leaves confused but feels their questions were answered because they can make them work with the answers given.  I feel it is a very shady way to do business!

On the flip side, there are many online psychics that also offer telephone psychic readings.  These psychics will usually offer one standard price for a certain time frame.  For instance you might pay $90 for a 60 minute reading or $20-$25 for a 15 minute phone reading.  While these prices may seem steep at first, consider that the other way is you paying like $5.99 per minute!  It is well worth your research to find a reputable psychic by searching on the Internet or the yellow pages for a psychic phone reading.

A telephone psychic reading can be much more personal and this is important to many people.  I am strongly suggesting that you stay away from the cheesy phone psychics that work for a large company that advertises on television.  Many of the people that work there are not real psychics, the ones that are quickly find another way to offer their services to the public.  There are some psychics that still offer their services by a per minute basis and this is ok because they typically work for themselves, but through a system such as Keen which works through finding your phone psychic of choice online and finding ones that offer phone readings and calling them if they are online.
