Need to know Fluffy’s Future? Call the Pet Psychic!
A pet psychic is much like a people psychic in that they can pick up on emotions and information from pets and relay that information to the owner. Many pet psychics like to be called “animal communicators” because they claim that they are not giving a future predicting reading for the animal, more like talking to them through telepathy and understanding what is going on with them and know what they would like to communicate to their owners. A lot of people turn to a pet psychic for finding their lost pets or to figure out what is causing behavioral problems.

People who love their pets and are accepting of paranormal means of communication are of course very susceptible to the idea of pet psychics. But, just like people psychics, “animal communicators” can also be frauds and employ the same techniques in order to appear to give accurate readings. Many people claim that a pet psychic has given them information that led them to their lost pet or helped to solve Fluffy’s chewing problem, but there has never been any documented scientific evidence of this fact. Also, the only person to validate what the psychic is saying is the owner, so you don’t really know what the pet is thinking or trying to communicate because they cannot voice it in human terms. There is really no validation when doing a pet psychic reading.
Of course if there are pet psychics, there are also pet mediums. Again, pet lovers who also believe in the paranormal will more than likely believe that they can communicate with their pets after they have died. This is not a huge stretch for them because we all love our pets as if they were family and why wouldn’t they wish to continue to be around us after they were dead? So many people employ a pet medium in order to communicate with their dead pets after they are gone. Obviously, this is not done to correct behavioral problems, but to give them a feeling of comfort during this sad period.
Regardless of your belief about pet psychics or psychics in general, we can all understand the need to believe. If we didn’t have this deep seated need to believe there would be no religion of any sort. A pet psychic might bring some peace into an already chaotic world and who are we to judge if someone chooses to use one.
