Though the convenience that a psychic chat offers is second to none, some clients are uncomfortable with the format, as it does not allow them a true picture of the person with whom they are conversing. In recent years, there have been a few scandals in the psychic community regarding fake psychics who open telephone and online practices. For those who are true believers in psychic abilities, the idea that they will be paying for readings with a fraud can be enough to make them shy away from this method of communication. However, there are things that anyone can do to feel more confident about the credentials of the person with whom they are chatting.

Only work with psychics who have positive customer reviews and client testimonials. The best way to be sure that the psychic who you are speaking to is truly gifted is to hear it from his or her satisfied customers. Most psychic websites will have a number of testimonials from satisfied clients. Before signing up for your first chat, take the time to read through these statements. You must decide whether or not they seem valid and whether or not they are in line with their reputation on other sites across the web.

Take advantage of free online trial offers. Most online psychics allow first time visitors the chance to schedule an initial meeting at no charge. These free meetings allow you to see for yourself whether or not the advice that a given psychic is dispensing is valid. It is important to remember that no psychic has a 100% accuracy rate, so do not be too hard on those who may be off base on a few of their predictions. Instead, consider whether the bulk of what they said turned out to be valid, or resonated with you and your life.

Even the most careful client cannot know for sure whether the medium conducting a psychic chat is real or not. The best thing that a client can do is trust their own feelings and instincts. Keep in mind that the vast majority of online psychics do believe in their own abilities and are legitimately interested in helping others. Though there are those who run fraudulent businesses, they are far from the norm. By conducting your own research and taking advantage of free trial offers, you can feel confident in knowing that you are working with a medium who you trust.

Finding Accurate Psychics Online

Finding accurate psychics online can be a bit of a challenge as you probably already know.  While it may be a challenge it is also not nearly has hard as you think it might be.  Psychics get a bad reputation from cheesy shows, movies and shady business practices, but there are genuine psychics out there who want to help and would appreciate your business.  You have to understand that all things paranormal cannot really be proved at this point because science has not caught up with most of it, so this lends itself to exploitation and corruption for those out to make a quick buck.

A lot of my posts on this site have concentrated on trying to bring awareness to the scandalous practices of a lot of people, but I just cannot stress it enough.  An online psychic reading can be just as beneficial as a face to face reading, but many people distrust this format.  It can be trusted if you can find an authentic psychic.  My advice has always been to do your research and browse the websites that you come across.  Is it a big business and fancy website or is it more simple like mine and advertises only one or a handful of psychics?  Usually the individuals offering online psychic readings are more to be trusted than cheesy corporations employing psychics without any accuracy check of their psychic abilities.

Psychics online can be trusted and accurate, but you need to go with your gut instinct on choosing one.  Not all online psychics have their recommendations plastered all over their website, but should be able to provide references, so don’t let that stop you from not using a particular psychic because you don’t see glorified reviews all over their site.  Some of us are much more subtle in our approach than that :)   Really it is a matter of preference.

What I will warn you against is companies that have 1oo’s of psychics online.  Online psychic readings can be just as accurate as in person readings but you have to have a real accurate psychic in order for that to happen.  Most of these companies hire anyone without verification of psychic abilities.  Do not fall into this trap!  Those are the companies and “psychics” that give the rest of us a bad reputation and frankly it is extremely frustrating to try and undo the bad experiences you have had when you come for a real psychic reading from me.

What Is A Love Psychic?

Ah Amore, something we all desire but most have a hard time acquiring. Dundadaaaa…in comes the love psychic! What is a love psychic? Funny you should ask…let me explain.

A psychic is a psychic is a psychic but some claim to be more gifted in certain areas like love, finance, career, etc. So it would make sense that a love psychic or a love psychic reading would concentrate on the love life of the client more so than any other subject. I have a hard time with those claiming to be “love psychics” because I feel that if you have a gift it is equally impressive no matter what subject matter the client wishes to focus on. I also know how marketing works and most marketing is deceptive and geared toward capitalizing on as much money as possible. This focus often skewers the perception of the client into thinking that a love psychic is exactly what they need and often those who engage in such tactics are phony in the first place.

Having said that, I do believe that some psychics are able to tune into people’s emotions more so than others, myself included. Empaths are notorious for this and while I wouldn’t go as far as to call myself a “love psychic” I would agree that there are those of us who can tap into emotions more so than others giving us a slight upper hand when it comes to matters of the heart. I would just caution you from websites and psychics who claim to be able to help you with your love life above and beyond anything else in your life.

Many psychics become angry with me, but I am just telling it like it is. It gives everyone a bad name when the majority of psychics out there are phony and offer “love psychic readings” as if they are so much better at those than anything else. You have to understand as the client that this is playing to your emotions. Most people seek out psychic advice in the love department and some people are just trying to capitalize on that and are not really “better” at it than other psychics.

I would be leery of those psychics who claim they are. I have worked in this business a long time and I do readings for people who have been burned before and it irritates me to no end that there are fake psychics trying to sucker vulnerable people into readings. Don’t get me wrong though, if you want a reading that deals mainly with your love life that is not a problem, but try and find a well rounded psychic!

Psychic Source Review

For those of you who do not know, Psychic Source is an online psychic community that offers psychic readings. Now many of you know that I myself am a psychic reader, but we psychics get our own readings as well! I decided to receive a reading from different places online and review them for my visitors as it is only fair and I believe we should have as many options as we can available to us at all times. I am nothing if not fair :)

Psychic Source is one of the oldest phone psychic businesses around and still operates as a phone business, but they have a website where you can go and check out the psychics before hand. You will place a call to a toll free number and each psychic has their own extension. You will be directed on how to make payment and then your session will start.

Now this company has been around since 1989 and is the leading phone psychic website and does have a pretty decent reputation. I have made it clear about my disdain for phone psychics of the past because I was one and I know there was no training whatsoever and you were basically told to keep someone on the line no matter what, the longer they talked the more you got paid. It was deceitful and I did not last long doing it as you can well imagine.

One of the reasons I like Psychic Source is because their psychic readers are required to give three readings to other employees as part of the interview process. They make it clear that you are not compensated more by keeping people on the phone longer than they originally intended and they have worked out a fair compensation structure so no psychic feels pressure to keep people on the phone in order to get paid a decent salary. These points are extremely important in deciding how legitimate this business is and I find it to be pretty legitimate.

Another thing is that all the psychics are rated by their clients and you can read their reviews. This was never an option for the phone psychics of old. You are able to choose the psychic of your choice (another new thing for the phone) and you can read about their gifts and what type of psychic readings they perform.

The reading that I received was very compassionate and accurate and I would not hesitate to use Psychic Source again in the future. This is not an endorsement, just a real honest opinion of their services and I appreciate a company that is upfront in their dealings. Good job Psychic Source!

Online Psychic Chat Etiquette

There is much to be said about an online psychic chat. An online psychic will typically set up an online reading for you via an instant messenger program or embedded chat room on their website.  This is what you should expect, but if they suggest another way then that should be perfectly acceptable as long as it is something you are comfortable with.  There is usually no difference in the method of delivery of the reading if it is a paid reading or a free psychic chat.  The same technology still applies.  Sometimes the psychic will give you the URL of a chat room that is actually timed and will boot you out of the room when the time runs out on your reading.  If you pay for fifteen minutes then you will have a little timer counting down and when fifteen minutes is reached you will be disconnected.  This type of chat room helps the psychic stay on point because it is very easy to lose track of time!
Psychic chat rooms are usually reserved for just you and the psychic, but some websites that offer free online psychic chat will offer what they call “mini-readings” at specified times of the day.  Basically you show up to the website at the specified time and join in the chat with others who all wait in line for their turn at a mini-reading.  These mini-readings typically last five minutes and are not private.  Everyone in the chat room at that time can see your reading.  These psychic chats are set up to give you a sample so you will go and order a full reading.

As far as etiquette goes, it may be surprising but there is such a thing as chat etiquette.  It can be a problem with online chat because it is easy to misunderstand one another when words are being typed on a screen.  It is sometimes hard to convey emotion or meaning with just words, so it is important to not jump to conclusions when receiving your psychic reading.  Allow the psychic to complete his or her typing and thought before jumping in with more questions.  Do not be afraid to ask for clarification about something that you are not understanding.  The psychics understand that it is harder to convey information online and are very patient with questions and most will try very hard to make sure what they are typing makes sense in the way it is supposed to.

Be sure to thank your psychic and return her blessings if she gives them.  It is hard work they are performing and even though you are paying for their service, it is nice to know you are appreciated!  Your psychic’s job is to make sure you leave the reading with a full understanding about what has been shared so do not be afraid to ask questions.  Your psychic should be courteous and understanding and expects the same from you.  Basically your psychic chat etiquette should be the same etiquette and manners you would have during a live psychic reading.  The respect should be reciprocated.

How to Conduct Online Psychic Readings

Conducting online psychic readings is a very easy procedure and only really requires the use of free technology.  Most live online psychic readings are given via an instant messenger program like Yahoo or AOL instant messenger.  Other readings may be given via a chat room that is usually programmed right into a website itself.  Online psychic readings should be given in formats that allow for the ability to keep the chat for your records, which most of these programs allow for.  For the technical side of it, it is pretty simple, but I want to give you some tips if you are a psychic on how to actually conduct an online psychic reading.

First and foremost you must remember that the client is more than likely going to be in a highly emotional state about one thing or another.  Most people search out psychic readings when something in there life is in turmoil or has the possibility of being really exciting.  You must be a compassionate reader.  The best psychiMessy Roomcs are those who are truly empathetic and like people in general.  I have come across my fair share of psychics who are generally surly and  unhappy and this does not make for a good experience for the client.  If you cannot feel empathy for another human then do not become a psychic reader.

Online psychic readings are the first choice for many people because for the most part they are either shy or wish to remain really anonymous.  This must be understood and respected.  Keeping all information you do learn private is essential and the client must be reassured of this.  You should always have a privacy policy on your website stating this fact.  Many people are afraid a free online psychic reading for this fact that they think because it is free that you will do what you wish with their information in order to receive something out of the reading.  Assure them this is not true with a privacy policy boldly displayed.

For your part, you should conduct your readings in a space that provides you with the most comfort and ability to concentrate on your client.  No matter how you tap into your psychic abilities, you will have to try harder to maintain your connection with the client because they are not right there in the room with you.  However, I find this an advantage because I do not have them distracting my concentration and I am able to provide a more accurate reading this way.

How Do Psychics On Line Give Readings?

A question that comes up very often is how do psychics on line actually give readings?  Don’t they need to be in the same room with the person they are reading for?  Don’t psychics have to touch a person or an object to give an accurate psychic reading?  These questions and many more often crop up when talking about on line psychics.  The answer may not be as simple as “no”, but it is not necessary for a clairvoyant to have the person they are reading for to be in the same room.  There are many different schools of thought on where a psychic clairvoyant gets his or her gift, but it boils down to energy.

Call it a shared consciousness, an energy field that surrounds all living things, or a shared plane of existence, it all means the same thing.  There is an energy that all psychics pull from, or I should say our brains pull from.  I believe that our brains are what does all the work.  The brain is an amazing organ that we do not fully understand yet, not even close.  I believe, along with many other people, scientists and psychics alike, that our brain is a very powerful tool that can communicate with others through a shared energy field.  If you think of lightning bolts of static coming from your brain, floating through the atmosphere, until it reaches the other brain in which you are concentrating on, that is what I am talking about.  A psychic clairvoyant can tune it to their subject via these energy waves and conduct a reading without that person being there.

On line psychics in fact have to work harder at the reading because they are not able to pick up on your subtle body language or look you in the eye, both things that can influence a reading without the psychic even realizing it.  It may not be intentional, but it is human nature to look for reassurance and a psychic is not immune to this response.  In my opinion, a more accurate psychic reading is one that is conducted over the phone or especially online.

So, this is my opinion of how psychic readings are conducted online.  Many psychics have their own beliefs, whether it be working with spirit guides, reading your aura, or tapping into a shared consciousness.  In the end I believe we are all doing the same thing, that our brains are more finely tuned than most others and no matter how it manifests itself to the individual, a psychic on line reading can be done and done accurately.

In the world of psychic readers, online psychics have quickly become the way to go.  It is easy, convenient and very private to have a reading from an online psychic.  Many of these online psychic readers often practice as a psychic in “real” life as well, but reading for people online is another way to diversify their income.  Many of the websites who hire these psychics will require them to pass a “test” before they are hired.  Often this psychic test is that they must perform a reading for another employee, often times the boss.  I know this because I have been an online psychic and had to pass many of these tests myself!  Now, not all the websites require this test and will hire anyone and then teach them how to give a reading.  My advice for you to find the best online psychics is to find a website that is not necessarily the most fancy looking.  The best readers are hired by the smaller companies.

Keen is another way to find independent psychic readers, but the best way here is to read their reviews and find one that will fit your needs.  Keen psychics are independent readers and are allowed to charge anything they wish so be sure to research your options before choosing.  Keen readings are done over the phone and you call a number and are charged a per minute fee.  A lot of people like the idea of speaking to their psychic reader rather than just chatting to them online or through an email reading.  If you prefer to chat with your psychic then many other websites offer a variety of options.

Most psychic websites will allow you to choose what type of reading and how it is delivered from the online psychics.  The typical choices are email psychic readings, psychic phone readings or live online psychic readings done via an instant messenger program or chat room.  There are usually different price ranges for these psychic readings with the email reading typically being the cheapest because the psychic can do them at their leisure.  An on demand psychic reading is usually the most expensive and are usually prorated in 15min intervals.

Whatever your choice of delivery, your online psychic reading should be a relaxing and reassuring experience.  Many websites will offer the free psychic reading for a short period of time so you can try out your psychic before you purchase a reading.  This will help you make a decision and find the right psychic reader for you!

Free Online Psychic Reading

Anyone can get a free online psychic reading if you look hard enough.  Actually, you really don’t have to look very hard because most psychic reading places will offer a free reading.  There are so many different types of online psychic readers and psychic websites that finding just what you were looking for is very easy.  Some websites and psychics even offer free email psychic readings.  Whatever freebie is offered you can pretty much bet that it is going to be a “mini reading” offered in order to lure you into ordering a paid reading.

That is not to say that a free psychic reading will not be helpful or “fake”.  The psychic is going to try and give you the best reading in the amount of time or space allotted for the free reading, but they definitely have some tricks up their sleeve to get you to order a paid psychic reading.  Most of them are trained to answer your questions without really answering them.  To let a worm dangle just out of reach so you go ahead and pay them for a full reading in order to hopefully get your answers.  Now you should understand that this is not necessarily a devious move, they are offering you a service and just like anyone else they should be paid accordingly.

I can offer an opinion regarding free online psychic readings having worked as one myself for many years.  There is a school of thought that someone who offers a free reading has to in order for you to pay for them to read to you or that they are not very good and the person who refuses to offer a free reading is the obvious best choice.  This is not always the case.  I have worked on both sides of the coin and I can tell you there are frauds and genuine readers everywhere, so if you are unsure about the psychic you want to choose, then it doesn’t hurt to pick a website that allows for a free psychic reading.  Another way to ensure a quality reading is to get recommendations from others and read reviews.  However, the most important thing to ensure a great psychic reading is to know what to expect up front.

A psychic reading, whether it be a free online psychic reading or a face to face tarot card reading, should leave you with a comforting feeling.  Your reader should be a compassionate and caring person who is sensitive to your reasons for getting a reading.  Please note that many psychics take their work very seriously and if you come there and treat it like a joke then you very likely will not get anything from the experience.
